Capstone
For my senior capstone, we decided to create a documentary-style video. I chose this topic because I have heard different stories about African-American women who have faced negative stereotypes, and the judgment they have faced in different environments. By shedding light on the negative stereotypes that African-American women face, my documentary can bring awareness and inspire change. With this project, I hope to bring awareness and encourage women to break down these stereotypes and express self-love.

The Process
Scripting
Since our capstone video is a documentary/interview, we needed to create a script that outlines the main topics and questions we would like to ask our interviewees
Filming
This took about 3 days to film. On day one we set up the studio to our likeing, Adjusting lighting, cameras, audio and seating postions. Next we filmed out interview, however we encounted a technical error. Although we heard the audio while filming, when it cam etime to upload it did not record audio. So on day three, we began the filming process again and filmed out interview once more.
Editing and Revising
As the editor and producer of this project I was tasked with putting the video together. This took some time as this was the longest video project I have personally done.
