Vision for Senior Year

During my junior year in AEM and my time in Mustangs Media. I developed skills involving different art forms. In ceramics, I was able to expand my skills in dealing with clay, metal, and other materials. In film video, I gained much knowledge and skills regarding video editing and development. In Mustangs media I spent most of my time editing and photographing sports content, specifically football.

Next year I would like to broaden the sports and events I photograph, to better gain more experience and skills in different areas. I would like to spend some time inside the studio, assisting with photoshoots, to better learn about lighting and things of that nature. Although it is nice to be good at one task, I feel it is even better to have some knowledge of many others. Since I spend most of my time photographing outdoor activities, I would like to balance the two better. I would also like to learn more about combining aspects of videography and photography, creating videos similar to documentaries also have my interest.

Lastly, I would like to begin to take my own photography “business” a little more seriously. I would like to learn more about developing prints for purchase for example. While in Mustangs Media I would like to broaden overall my knowledge and experience in different forms of photography and videography.
